Lord Protect Me
A poem I wrote about 10 years ago.
I am feeling weakLord, help me keep the faithHelp me keep the hope, Give me strength to proceed. Dear Lord please hold, For I feel as though my heart can't mold.Give me courage to get out of bed each day,And wear that smile of mine from day to day. For the rest of my struggles - guide me, Even though I feel like hiding somewhere no one can find me.Give me wisdom,Keep me safe,Keep me away from bad doings and any endangered place. Lord keep me alert,Allow me to be aware, And not to seek revenge.But just to know my stance and what's true,And to also have a clear view. Keep me humble, Guide me every step of the way. And when I'm vulnerable, feel endangered or indifferent in any possible way;Help me to remember to pray.
