Seeing the Sacred in Everyday
Todays destination was the garden at KewAt a time of day I deemed frequented by few.Descending into tunnels of the tubes grim grimeEmerging into sunlight and spontaneous rhyme. Out today for a walk, time to explore,Taking pictures of the sculptures by Henry Moore. As my wandering feet did randomly roamI absorbed Autumn colours, steeped in leaf and loam. My mind also a wander, viewed a fractal flower of lifeA cosmic kernal packed: sacred geometry rife.My meaderings led me on to Moores mighty seedA rumbling gut hinting it could do with a feed. An apple and a sandwich rarely tasted so goodAs when one walks far on trails of wonder and wood.By slowing down, observing, seeing whats at handWe can contemplate the sacred, in a grain of sand. © Sir Percy
