Sadiechild

I have worked as a nurse/ midwife in a number of resource-poor countries over the years, which was transformational for me. I worked in Sri Lanka, Somalia, South Sudan, Nepal, Philippines and Cote D'Ivoire in west Africa. It taught me gratitude, courage and a profound respect for those with whom I worked and the mothers and babies who I had the privilege to assist.
