I began writing poetry in 1974 at the age of 26. Those early attempts were in my opinion pretty poor, but like all the creative arts, I did improve as time passed by. It has taken me many years to finally discover my own voice, which is in open form poetry, a form I love so much. The subjects I write about mostly relates to life experiences, the highs and lows of living, sometimes the dark side of life, sometimes weaving nature into poems in an abstract way. I have poetry in self-published books, anthologies and also in magazines. Adding to that I have also created videos of my poetry, some being experimental in voice and tone, that can be found on YouTube.
