I am a poet living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I favour the verse form of poetry, defined by meter and rhyming. As T. S. Eliot said, poetry is a music of ideas, “expressing feeling for syllable and rhythm, penetrating far below conscious levels of thought and feeling, invigorating every word; sinking to the most primitive and forgotten, returning to the origin and bringing back, seeking the beginning and the end."
My poems explore relationships with nature, technology, society, faith and art. They are designed to summon images for readers that provide insight on the realities of the world--natural, social, spiritual, political--and help them understand the nuances of time, memory and imagination.
My poetry volumes are available in print and electronic form on my micro website at bit.ly/370xcBn
