Moments of Coffee and Writing

Get up at seven a.m. or maybe four or five a.m. if I can no longer sleep. Get some coffee brewing and awaken the mind with a jolt of caffeine and get down to writing. Here is my poem of how this process may go down!!!

I love the early morningswhen I get up at seven in the morningor if I cannot sleep then at four or fivesometimes I need that caffeine kick that wakes me up to be alive.Writing the second revision of my next novelI am keen to avoid my workto be a slapped together literary hovel.Waking up I focus on a chapter per dayan hour or perhaps two hoursbefore my creativity heads towards the sour.Moments of coffee and writingnew paragraphs, hidden niches of a plotsuddenly I discoverto enrich the story core. The silence of the housea blessing at this hourmaybe hear the furnace or fridge hum reminding me that am not a literary bumone must not be discouragedby a recurring writer's block slum. The coffee and the caffeinetricks the mind to be more awakeif only for the Muse's sake.Hard at work perhaps the Muse is blessed and amusedwhile whispering new story threadsdirect wired into my brainwithout the vocalization one must refrain.Write the morning's amount arriving to the daily goal summitwithout having your soul merely plummet. As winter beckons nearlet the leaves advertisethe work put into your work as a sacrifice for yourselfand as full payment to the Musethat particular Muse of Poetry and Writing.Finish off that cup of coffeemaybe you add a syrup of English toffee.Be satisfied with your daily word count as you progress growto a bigger amountas the time spent cannot be recount in these moments of coffee and writing.
