Family time in the summerwith the late afternoon and evening gatheringssitting around the evening campfireschewing the fatas the darkness began to settle in.Aunts, uncles and cousinsgathered to visit one anotheron a yearly or quarterly basisjoining up for a social oasis.Over fifteen aunts and unclesso many cousins while growing upthere were some pleasant highlights to remembereven in the months from September to November.No longer do these reunions take place nowevery wiener roast brings back the hopesfrom different times that we did cope.Photos remain as a reminderone day I shall only exist in photographs too.Just a passing thoughtforgotten by all but a precious fewbefore I am cremated or turned into ground worm stew.Aunts, uncles and cousinsfavourite memories come to mind in older yearslet these times be true in every way.
