Fair Well...

The desert was but a beach the tide was not attracted toSeems like I was a mirage to youI lived in the margins and couldn't feed between the linesI climbed the tree of trust and hung on every branchI floated as I fell from having outstretched handsThese fingers have strength nowI own the motionI no longer sink in your soundI am the ocean, a salt mine soliloquyI am the whole I used to think you'd be soFarewellIn to the deep I stare, welling upRejuvenating my water ways buildingNever skirting wavesI shall never mourn sand castles or shellsI shall treasure rocksGood bye is but hello to self love
