Which is Robert Burns birthday also...So it was assumed I would be a poet...
I assume this also and I try to be a poet, but most people who read my poetry say it is trite, at least I think they are calling it trite, I am deaf in one ear and quite often mishear speech...
Other people 'the ones that I like say that my poetry is akin to the infamous William McGonagle, to which I aspire to be as good as....
I have decided to improve my poetry experience and hopefully to improve my musings to a level where concerning people would want to read....
Hence the reason for joining here....This site was recommended by a critic of mine, who said it might give me some real poetic thoughts and improve on the trite that is my output so far....
