'Twas The Night Before Christmas!

A Very Happy Christmas to all.

'Twas the night before Christmas, she lit the lanterns outside the front door.So that Santa will not miss her house that was standing in the dark. She had a glass of port after a very long timeAnd flavoured the grapes from the old barrel in the cell. She went to the garden to get a glimpse of St NicholasWho gave presents to children on Christmas Eve.She settled down on her chair to watch an old Christmas movieWhen she suddenly heard a rustling noise outside. She came near the window and saw a dark shadow and saw a shiny nose. She guessed it must be Rudolph with Santa in the sleigh. She opened the door quietly and saw Father Christmas as he was leaving the front yard.Click went her camera and she snapped Farther Christmas!
Where did he leave my present?Did he forget me?As I shut the door, I saw a note put through my letter box.I read it with excitement. It’s a very special message which he’s asked me to keep within my soul.
