I spotted a parrot in my front garden last Friday - 5th March. The photographs were taken by me through the window.
She got up early one morning.She opened her looped curtains.There was a parrot on the blossom tree!“A parrot!”“A parrot in the Winter!”“With a rose ring round it’s neck.”“Am I dreaming?”“Dreaming I’m not.”Snap, snap, snap, went her camera.“Where does it come from?”Green parrots are native to South India.“It couldn’t have flown all the way from India!”It seems there are breeding pairs of parakeets,Living throughout England!Even the pigeon was amazed to see a green bird flying.It only took a parakeet for everyone to stop and stare!
