We live in a masked worldWhere everyone's behind a mask. Their feelings do not showAre they smiling with me or not? Are they fed up with what I saidOr grumpy as their day was bad? In shops I see eyes starringThat puts me off speaking. Their kindness does not showWith their muffled up strange voices. I have to speak up loudIf not they look at me crossed. It makes it even worseWhen there’s blaring background music. Turn that darn music downI don’t like speaking loud! Is there a hold up in the bankI see masked people around?
