Here's a poem I wrote in about 5 minutes at 2.30 in the morning! I'm an insomniac. This is a picture of my sewing box. It's the sort of poem I did with children in school during poetry lessons. I thought it's nice to write a children's poem.
My little sewing box is the shape of a heart.It has white and black thread beige and pink too.My favourites are blue and grey colour thread.There is a tracing wheel which I haven’t used in a while.A little silver thimble which fits my third finger.There is a tape measure which I haven’t used at all.Some buttons that are useful in case I miss in my shirts.A few safety pins to hold a hemline in place.This was a perfume box which I got from a friend one Christmas.The perfumes have been used and I use it now for my sewing.
