Happy Valentine's Day!
I don’t normally decorate my home on Valentine’s Day, but this year I thought I would because I have been busy with my creative side to keep the blues away! The picture is my Valentine’s Tree in my home.
Another Valentine’s Day,For couples a special day! Why is it called Valentine’s Day?St Valentine was a Christian Martyr in the day.There were several myths about him those days.That he married couples to spare the husbands from going out to war those days.He was put in prison and there he befriended the jailer’s daughter during the day.Wrote letters to her signed “from your Valentine, have a good day!” When I was younger, I used to get a card and sometimes two those days.From the special man I was in love with and the second from an admirer those days.Flowers and presents and whisked away to a special place surprised the day.Romantic restaurant in town on the day.The theatre the following day.A club where we danced the night away on Friday! There’s no Valentine for me these days.Each year I think perhaps I may have a Valentine someday.Someone who would at least give me a bunch of flowers on the day.Wildflowers picked from the woods would be fine on the day.I WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY.I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!
