Fear of leaving the Bubble

Here's another simple poem! Most of my poems are written in simple vocabulary and easy to follow even by children. This is from being a primary school teacher and wrote poems for children. But I hope adults would like reading them too.

I am in a bubble of my own.I go to the shops in my bubble. For a walk in the woods in my bubble.I sit on my sofa with my bubble having a rest.Watch movies on telly talking to my bubble.Make my dinner singing to my bubble. My bubble doesn’t care if I go flat or out of breath.I laugh to my self watching Tom and Jerry.I write poetry to pass my day and my bubble reads them with me.I am often in deep thought and my bubble isn’t a help. The only faithful friend I have is my bubble. As time is drawing closer to leave my bubble.I’m getting frightened to leave my bubble. It reminds me of leaving my mother. When I was young and started at school.I know I should be happy to leave my bubble. And go out and explore the world once more.I can go to the cinema to watch a movie.Meet my few friends for a pizza and wine.Or cheer at a cricket match. But why am I scared to leave this bubble?Which has been an excuse to be a lazy lump!
