Colours of the Rainbow
The colours of the rainbow as you all know are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. The picture at the end of this poem has two rainbows, a picture I took in Summer last year.
My heart has all the colours of the RAINBOW. RED that shows the LOVE and JOY,I have for people I care about.ANGER when I see unfairness,And lack of respect for all. ORANGE for the love of SUNSHINE,When everything seems so bright.The ENTHUSIASM I show,For the CREATIVE things I do. YELLOW is for HAPPINESS one feels.I’m LOYAL to all my friends,And a COWARD I’m certainly not.I hope my friends know this all. GREEN represents NATURE.I’m a lover of NATURE on earth.I do feel some ENVY,When I try but cannot have. The BLUE I have in my heart,Is FAITH in HEAVAN above.My CONFIDENCE is increasing.WISDOM to know what’s real. My friendships are always SINCERE.I have a fair share of INDIGO.INTERGRITY can be my middle name.Not sure if I’m POWERFUL though. Violet is for SPIRITUAL being.I’ve always been a SPIRITUAL self.But ROYALTY and WEALTH,Is certainly not in me. We all have colours of the RAINBOW.Need to examine our hearts.To what extent you have these colours,Only you would know.
