Autumn Days

This poem is about a tree that stands in The Courtyard I live

The Autumn leaves of red gold and yellowShines like sparkling goldA brown rug of leaves on grassFlying when the wind blowsScattering in the CourtyardThe tree would stand with its bare limbsNot asking where my leaves are goneFor the tree knows without a doubtIt needs to sleep as nature taughtThe roots delve deep into earthWould hold it strong as seasons passIt’s strong arms pointing at each cloudThe nature always loves the treeIn its gracious simplicityWithout any words it teaches meIn my Autumn days that would follow soonTo be happy with myself just being me!
