Isn’t this typical of Autumn weatherGrey mornings, rain, and wind.It makes me want to go back to bed.I’m lucky I can do that as I am now retired. I love Autumn with shades of brown, yellow,Red, and Golden leavesFlying like multicoloured birds of preyTrying to escape the cold weather to a warmer land. Ground covered with a golden carpetFor the hedgehogs, and squirrels to hide till they pick up nuts.I love Autumn when you start to light up the fireCover your feet with a blanket and watch a movie or read a book. This year for me there’s a bit of sadness in the air,With my health issues and waiting for my brother to get better-in a faraway land.I feel lonely and wish someone was there to comfort me.But I manage okay, this is life, you make the best of it.
