Sleepy
Has the sandman come early? Not the one and only, surely? My eyelids are drooping Soon I'll be dreaming I still have life to live on this day and things that need doing I'd love to rest but not quite just yet If I slept now I'd miss a beautiful sunset The desire to sleep is strong and steady But please I tell you, I'm not yet ready I love to sleep and my dream world is soothing My brain tries to tempt me, softly cooing You make some good points don't get me wrong, but the day is not over, I shall end it wearily strong
