Misspent youth

I left school as a 15 year old, Frequented local pubs who never questioned your age in those days, squandered any money that I earned. As far as I was concerned money was for spending.

I know I had a misspent youthWith weekends in night clubsAnd every evening in the weekI'd drink in different pubs Every Saturday afternoon I'd go to watch footballAnd Sundays after 'towels up'Straight to the snooker hall Never a thought of savingJust living for the dayAnd if my moneys all spent outGet subbed from next weeks pay A big win at the CasinoOf course, not being shrewdI wouldn't put it in the bankI'd rather get tattooed I know it was pretty recklessBut here's the honest truthI wouldn't change a single thingabout my misspent youth
