Muddled Thoughts

Disposing of some feelings.

You thought you had been at work today. And you hadn't. You thought you seen Jock running about too.You hadn't. That weekend we were away, You swore you had your bag with you. By the end of the weekend you did. Only because the two boys drove 150 miles to get it, planking it in the boot for you to findSo you'd settle and enjoy what was left of the weekend. The weekend you now don't recall.I made you lunch - you forgot you had it.You would have paid the council tax bill multiple times if I didn't tell you it had already been paid. And for the 5th time today -You tried to pay it again. You think you lost the money for the phone bill, but you hadn't taken it out.Yet you are adamant you did.And now you are crying saying this is how it is going to be —Whether you are right or wrong; You won't be believed. And I fall silent.Because I know this is the one thing you have said that is true.
