How Do I Look?

Challenge poem: When you have a date and your hairdresser is missing in action.

The Question..

My split ends need attentionMy hair is needing cutI nipped into the hairdresserTo find that it was shutI got myself a date tonightI need to look my bestAnd of course of all the daysMy hair is quite a messI took myself some scissorsAfter I had myself a whingeIf the hairdresser can't fix itI'll just cut myself a fringe! I seen her do it beforeI've watched a million timesI'll just cut off a little bitAnd it will work out fine.I'll just snip off a bit here... And take a bit from thereJust even up this little bit... That looks a little squareThe angle that I've cut itMakes it look a little oddI was going for 'Lopez'But I look more like Ken DoddI've mixed me up a colouringWith a brownish reddish tintAnd my fringe is looking straighter,When my head is tilted, and I squintI think I'm looking hot nowI'm a sexy looking mammaI hope he takes me somewhere niceAfter all this dramaBeing this hot does not come naturalIt takes a lot of pruningBut even if I say so myself —Now I'm absolutely blooming!
