Destiny is Like Coming 'Home'
When we meet our true destiny, it really does feel like coming home.
What is this thing called 'Destiny'? What has she planned for me? I'm too impatient for to wait, I set out, in search off thee I travel paths I think she is, Though none lead me that wayI search the seas, I search the skies, I search the night and day I'm weary as I hunt for her, My strength is getting lowI'm desperate for to meet her, As off the track I go I meet with others for a time, As fate would have it seemThat I had travelled down a path, I really should have been When at times I have found a path, That I should not be onI find the people that I meet, Don't stay with me for long Although there may lessons, That our meeting helped us shareIt hasn't been through destiny, As she hadn't shown up there I have been at crossroads, And I have pondered roads to walkI have taken paths I shouldn't take, And listened, instead of talked I've talked, when should've listened, And walked when should have ranI have doubted I could do things, That I should have known I can On some roads, I met the devil, And he tempted me to doSome things destiny would frown on, And wouldn't ask me too In our quest for us to find her, We can get lost along the wayBut if we are patient, when the time is right, Destiny will have her say She will find you, and you'll realise, What you've always knownYou are finally on the path, That leads you to your 'home'
