Hi my name is Mark De Pena. I am 67 years old in December.
Only discovered the passion to write poetry for the last 10 years ( a late starter) but I am certainly making up for it, having written over 5300 poems virtually all in rhyming verse.
My writing is simple but always from the heart.
I write under the pen name 'dip' which has been my nic name since early school years.
Self published my first book of poems back in feb 2013 called POEMS FROM THE HEART. I printed 500 books and just sold them at the cost of printing. It was more for a bit of credibility. Surfing is my first passion along with family but I must say poetry is a close third these days.
