John told us to "Imagine".I'm sure that he was right.It's taken me a lifetimeBut now I've seen the light.Possessions are the prison,We don't need any more.Losing is the keyThat opens any door.My lifetime's assets vanished And I couldn't pay my debts,But that was years and years agoAn now I've no regrets.Enough is all the stuff I haveTo see me through the day.From now on I'll lose it, bin it,Or give it all away.A thousand valued documents Vanished down the drainBut then I realisedThat I could start again.Lose your life and save it,Yesterday has gone.Free from backward glances,I'm living from now on. Written after my computer crashed and I lost the lot. So, I said, I can start all over again.Wonderful!
