Faith
Spiritual?
Moses didn’t know he’d see the waters part.He simply said, “Let’s go!”. He had faith in his heart.Noah didn’t realise that cruel flood was through,Until that little dove flew down and proved his faith was true. Have a little faith. That’s all you need to do,And you’ll get through your troublesThe way you always knew.Don’t even think of thinkingThat things could all go wrong.Put your faith in faithTo get where you belong. David made his choice and stood up all alone. Then he laid Goliath low with a single tiny stone.Jonah started travelling with a trust that couldn’t fail,And booked a one way ticket in the belly of a whale.Have a little faith etc.If it’s hard to figure outThe way that you should go,Just get a grip and take a tipFrom Noah, Mo and Jo And have a little faith etc. This is the lyric to a little song co written with my friend the talented Rik Shafer, who put a great tune to it. I think neither of us is religious, but we sure can write a song!
