Washable and Stain Resistant
A poem about painting ceilings
When you paint the ceiling Be sure to wear a maskFor some paint just ain’t that sticky Don’t be blinded by the task Some professionals paint their ceilingsAnd come home without a sploshBut when I saw my kids they screamed And said ‘Daddy, oh my gosh!’ ‘Your face is different coloursYour beards half white and black’My wife walked in to see the sight And almost had a heart attack ‘Why didn’t you wear a mask’ she said‘I did, but quite soon I could not see,For some reason when I paint ceilings,It sprays all over me!’ Whether wielding paint on roller Or applying with a brushYou’re bound to get a spotty faceIf you do it in a rush Don’t stand right beneath the area Or you’ll be blinded by the whiteYour eyelids will stick togetherAnd your beard just won’t look right When you paint the ceilingLook up, but from a distanceIf you can’t escape the spraying paint Look on the bright side... You’ll become ‘washable and stain resistant’
