There Is A Journey
Life
There is a truth in our beginningsThey are a place from which to startThere is a journey within each of us Which may be many worlds apart We discard the things we thought we wereWe determine who we want to beWe walk the path which carries us Towards the road which sets us free We look back to get our bearingsWe look again and then departWe are closer than we thinkWhen we are following our heart Where might our journey take us next As we turn another page? What ending are we destined for As we reach the final stage? If we reach our destinationWill we believe how far we've come? Will we remember what has got us thereAnd the things we lost and won? Who remained a friend to usWho we left behindWho we picked up on the way How much our destiny designed And just as our sun risesSo must it descendLike the truth in the beginningThere is a truth that all things end
