Something New

Self discovery

I know I'm here for somethingBut I don't yet have a clueSearching for direction So I know what I should do Its like I've paused inside a forestAnd everywhere I look The routes all look so similar Routes so easily mistook One route takes me further inBeyond the outer smaller treesInto silent darkness To ever lowering degrees I look in each directionCentred by the forests spellCaptured in a solitude Some might describe as hell But in myself I recognise The journey captures meA solitary passenger With no sense of where to be As I pass on through the forest My instinct as my guideI realise that my exit Is ahead and open wide Alongside the great relief I feelIs a sense of great rewardI'd reached a place in my own life Which had to be explored From one side of the forestTo finding my way outThe journey wasn't easy But I held hope rather than doubt Somehow the path which led me here Also led me through And now I'm on the otherside I can move on to something new
