From The Black Eyes Of The Crow's

When I look through my windowOut towards the fieldThe crows landing and then lifting As they consume the farmer's yield My eye is drawn to one crow'sAcrobatics in the skyGliding so majestically Beyond the clouds, I watch it fly Suddenly I see the world Through the window of my mindAs real to me as any view That nature had designed I think about the crow's viewAs it looks down and all aroundPerhaps it's glancing back at meAs it peers towards the ground A figure in the windowBlack outline behind the glareA moment when our eyes connect A chance encounter in the air I imagine what I must look likeFrom the black eyes of the crow'sI love how imaginationsSee the world through our windows Black feathers catching daylightMoved upwards by the breezeThat subtle iridescence Such a sight for me to sieze  My home so small beneath me There is perspective in the skyI find comfort when I see the worldFrom another beings eye And suddenly I'm back again The silence loud and all around Looking through my windowHas that effect on me I've found
