An Extraordinary Day
Perception is everything
An extraordinary lightAn extraordinary skyAn extraordinary day Ignites the colours in my eyesIn an extraordinary wayWhich no other light can doHas this extraordinary light Ever shone its light on you? It captures all the coloursWith its extraordinary raysLighting Autumn shades In extraordinary waysI really think of itAs an extraordinary thingOur extraordinary lightAnd the joy that it can bring We're in extraordinary timesOne minute life's sublimeThe very second minuteThe world feels in declineIn the depths of our declineWe need extraordinary lightThe first light of the dayThe first hour of our fight I always try to see the world In this extraordinary wayTo treat each day that I awake As an extraordinary day
