David Timothy Holdsworth

Hello and welcome to my site. I am a follower of Jesus, a non-conformist, poet, and preacher who graduated from Highland Theological College in Scotland. I'm also a family man. I'm a husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Originally from the Isle of Skye, I now live in Midlothian with my beautiful wife and three children, we have another on the way.

My day job for the last decade or so was as a support worker to people who have disabilities and now I'm branching out into childcare work. I presently work in an outdoor early years centre set in a beautiful country park.

I was diagnosed as autistic last autumn (a late diagnosis). This is a place for my special interests of creative writing around the topic of being neurodivegent, matters of faith (as a follower of Jesus) and matters of the pursuit of peace (sometimes called pacifism).

Other topics may come up from time to time, but these special interest certainly will. So if that is for you feel free to stick around and explore further.

As the title Line of Poetry suggests most of this writing will either be in the form of a poem or have at least some poetic style to it. Enjoy!
