House & Home

All our houses are gone -bleak footnotes pointing questions to the sky. We carried our home with us,walls heavy with memory -the wattle of familyholding daubs of laughter, foot trod with dung-black pain. We lug it now between foreign brick,to lodge unseen in cracksleft vacant by prior migration.
