The Weight
The weight of waiting,A heavy blanket Beneath which I hide From the tick-tick-tickOf my parents old clock. Hide-n-sleep,Head out, a peek,A hope for something To shrug down behind. As I wait for the passing,Of another sunrise to sunsetMark another date,In my numbered calendar calledProcrastinate.
