C. Wright

As a child I struggled at school, incredibly short attention span, compelling urges to do things that either got me in trouble or injured (sometimes both). I'm now just a month or so away from retirement and throughout my life making up verse and poems has stayed with me, even earning a few shillings from shipmates trying to impress their girlfriends back home. I've had a very varied job titles throughout my working life from farm labourer to senior engineer on a production line. I have had an amazing life so far and now the next chapter is about to start, my wife and I are off travelling the uk in a motor home then narrowboat. I'm really excited. Hopefully lots of inspiration to be had on our travels
